NVeSports vs UW Madison CSGO

Despite having lost their last match against UC Boulder, NVeSports didn’t give up yet! In the final match against the University of Washington Madison, they came out victorious in a demolishing victory of 16-3! Ending the pre-season at 3-4.

This match was highly anticipated as some of my fellow teammates are rivals with some of the UW Madison players, so the fact that we crushed them in our final match makes everyone very happy. Not much to say as we basically just outplayed and out-aimed most our opponents, but all-in-all, it was very fun.

NVeSports vs UC Boulder

Despite the hard work and effort NVeSports has been putting out, they could not defeat the #1 seed, University of Colorado, Boulder in a best of one match resulting in 16-8, making their League record 2-4.

I think our greatest problem was our mindset going into this match. We were all thinking that because they are the #1 seed that we couldn’t beat them. Honestly, I believe that if we were to have a better mindset going into it, we might’ve won that match. All-in-all, we still performed pretty good given the circumstances and I hope to play against them again someday because it was a very good match.

NVeSports vs MSU Spartans

NVeSports struck another victory in the Collegiate Star League today against the MSU Spartans 16-2, making their League record, 2-3!

I cannot begin to describe the level of power my team is aquiring. Each time we play we get stronger and much more fluid as a unit. It’s astonishing the see the caliber of gameplay we are competing at, especially when your team’s name is in the high light.

NVeSports vs WA Esports

WA Esports, once tyrants of the Esports league was taken down today by NVeSports in overtime 19-16, achieving NVeSports’ first win making their League record 1-3!

Today’s match was a huge success. As a team, we decided to hang out more (in person) and I feel as though it definitely helped. We were communicating better, we were calling strategies faster and everything was just a lot smoother. I’m starting to feel the potential in all of the players shine more and more as the season goes on, and I’m very excited for playoffs now.

NVeSports vs Crimson CSGO

In todays match, Crimson CSGO came out victorious in a heartbreaking defeat, 16-14, making NVeSports current League record 0-3.

I don’t really have much to say about this match either… We came up short in the early rounds and only really started showing our potential during the later rounds. Honestly, we should have won this match but we just made too many silly mistakes and were too inconsistent. Again, like last week though, I am confident that we will beat them the next time we see them in playoffs.
